Seeking A Technical Co-Founder / Developer (Equity Milestone) – Hardware Simulator Engine
The Mission:
At Frontier Quest, we are building a physical-and-software group role play platform to address early-childhood social deficits before they track downstream into adult mental illness, employment and other problems.
The Systems Challenge:
Our physical platform is a 52-inch hexagonal multi-station table running a custom FreeRTOS firmware stack on ESP32-S3 microcontrollers. To pass strict healthcare privacy audits by design, the system runs entirely offline, serializing and broadcasting raw 8-byte binary bitfield telemetry locally over Bluetooth to local tablets running encrypted offline SQLCipher databases.
The Role:
Before casting our high-pressure industrial manufacturing tooling, we need an independent developer to build an interactive Python or Web-based Hardware Simulator Engine. This simulator will emulate our 5-node learner configuration, model core Finite State Machine (FSM) transitions, and programmatically stress-test our offline local data pipelines.
Requirements: Experience with Python or web UI development, event-driven/asynchronous programming architectures, and a passion for deep, systems-level cyber-physical engineering.
Compensation: Unpaid milestone role with a direct trajectory onto the founding team with significant equity allocation as we close institutional funding.
About the Founder: Led by a technical multi-time entrepreneur holding an MD, an HBS MBA, and a Rice University BS in Electrical Engineering.
