About Mango Medical Communications:
I’m Eleanor Mango, MD, MBA — a behavioral instructional designer, RBT, and medical communications specialist based on the North Shore of Massachusetts. My work sits at the intersection of clinical communication, behavioral science, and instructional design. I focus on creating programs that are evidence‑based, neurodiversity‑affirming, and genuinely engaging for the learners they serve.
My current project is a social skills curriculum for children ages 8–10. It integrates ACT‑based behavior change principles, a TTRPG‑inspired engagement system, and outcome‑enabled data tools designed for real‑world clinical and educational environments. The goal is to support meaningful social‑emotional growth while respecting neurodivergent communication, autonomy, and identity.
Before shifting into behavioral instructional design, I worked in medical communications and clinical strategy, where I specialized in translating complex scientific concepts into accessible, actionable materials for clinicians, patients, and caregivers. That background shapes my approach today: clear structure, strong evidence base, and practical tools that clinicians can use immediately.
I am also an RBT and will begin my BCBA practicum through Arizona State University in September. ASU provides all BCBA supervision remotely. My practicum work focuses on curriculum development, data analysis, and program evaluation — the same components I build into my instructional design projects.
Across all of my work, I aim to create learning experiences that are respectful, engaging, and grounded in behavioral science. I believe that effective curriculum design can support both skill development and self‑advocacy, especially for neurodivergent learners.
